Cricket icon Sachin tendulkarIt is often noted as the “cricket god” recently dedicated to fans Reddite Through an interactive session “Ask me anything”. The Indian legend raised several questions, ranging from his career to his opinions on modern play. But an answer, in particular, caught the attention of everyone: Tendulkar shared the rule he would like to see changed to the international cricket.
When asked about the rule changes, Tendulkar firmly stated that he would write the controversial “call of the field” to the Decision review system (DRS). Its reasoning was simple but provocative. According to him, players often choose a review because they are not convinced with the field decision on the field. In this case, he believes that it makes little sense that the final result is still dependent on the same sentence.
“The DRS rule would change over the wide call. Players have chosen to climb upstairs because they were not unhappy with the field referee call. Therefore, there should be no choice to return to this call.” Explained tendulkar.

Batting Maestro also offered perspective on the human error in the cricket. He noted that, just as the cricketers experience up and down in shape, the fields also go through phases when their decision -making may not be at their best. In his opinion, technology – not being impeccable – provides coherence, which is essential for sport.
“Like players have bad patches, the fields also have bad patches. The technology, even inaccurate, will be constantly inaccurate,” Tendulkar emphasized, emphasizing why confidence in technology could make the game fairer.
