Ryan Garcia explains Gervonta Davis, the fault of “One Foot Out Mentality” for a rare Roach performance

Ryan Garcia says that Gervonta Davis’s shallow performance against Lamont Roach last Saturday was the result of his retirement planning and did not mentally focus on how difficult he had to be against a motivated fighter.

The Light WBA champion escaped with a 12 -round majority tie, but many fans felt he lost. Ryan believes that he should have been scored in the ninth round when Davis (30-0-1, 28 kos) took a knee. He blamed him from the grease of the hair he put in his eyes.

Garcia says that if Gervonta moves away from taking a knee without any point being removed, other fighters will do the same and blame some physical problem. This will “kill the impetus” of their opponent and can return to the fight.
