Rwanda Severs Ties with Belgium over Dr. Congo Conflict

Rwanda redorated diplomatic ties with Belgium, saying that the European nation was “consistently undermined” during a permanent conflict in the Congo Democratic Republic.

Brussels calls for European countries to authorize Ruda for the support of the M23, the rebel group in the center of the Doctor Congo crisis.

Authorities Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, gave Belgian diplomats for 48 hours to leave the country.

Belgium, which is the former colonial force, has stated that it would respond to these measures and indicate the Rwanda decision “disproportionate”.

Belgium Foreign Minister Maxim Prime responded to Rwand measures in social media, saying: “This is disproportionately and shows that if we do not agree with Rwanda, they prefer not to participate in the dialogue.”
