Rwanda said she was leaving the Central -African regional bloc after the diplomatic series about his participation in the conflict in the East of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The country had to take on the role of the chairman of the Economic Community of Central Africa (Eccas), which revolves between 11 members.
But it was not allowed to allow this at the meeting on Saturday in Equatorial Guinea.
Announcing your decision to leave eccasRwanda said the right to “the chairman … intentionally ignored to impose Drc’s diktat”.
As a result, he “does not see the justification in order to stay in the working, which works, contradicts the principles of foundation and the intended purpose.”
The line comes as efforts to stop fighting on the Eastern Doctor of Congo. Following the US, Rwanda and Dr. Congo, a peace plan is being signed at the end of this month.
According to the statement of the Congolese PresidencyEccas leaders at the summit “recognized Rwanda Aggression against the Democratic Republic of the Congo and ordered the aggressor’s country to abandon their troops from Congolese soil.”
It adds that it was decided to resolve the dispute that Equatorial Guinea would remain in the role of the chairman “to the detriment of Rwanda”.
In a comment sent to RwandaThe press secretary of the Congolese Government Patrick Muya said that “it is impossible to constantly and voluntarily violate the principles that underpin our regional institutions and claim that they want to preside over them.”
He added that the Eccas decision “should inspire other regional organizations to take a firm position against Rwanda.”
Rwanda is charged with supporting M23 rebels in the east Dr. Congo. The group achieved great achievements at the beginning of the year, accepting key regional cities of Homo and Bukov.
The Government of Dr. Congo, like the United States and France, has identified Ruda as M23 support.
Last year, the UN expert report states that up to 4,000 round troops fought with the rebels.
But Rwanda denied allegations, saying that his troops were located along the border to avoid conflicting into his territory.
Rwanda once in 2007 left Eccas, whose mission is to develop cooperation and strengthening regional integration in Central Africa. A few years later he returned.
