Former Mayor of New York City Rudy giuliani had serious injuries after being in a car accident.
“On the night of August 30, 2025, at New Hampshire, mayor Giuliani was in a motor vehicle accident,” shared the statement through a Giuliani officer Instagram Read on Sunday, August 31. “Before the incident, he was pulled down by a woman who suffered a domestic violence event. Mayor Giuliani immediately assisted and contacted 911. She stayed on the spot until responding officers arrived to secure her safety.”
The statement continued, “Following this, while traveling on the highway, the Mayor of Giuliani’s vehicle was hit from behind at high speed. He was transported to a nearby trauma center, where he was diagnosed with broken thoracic vertebra, lacerations and multiple contusions, as well as Injuries to his left arm and lower leg. “
He noted the message that was promptly contacted “a business partner and medical provider Giuliani and arrived at the hospital to oversee his care.”
“At this time, no further updates are available,” the statement concluded. “This is the only statement authorized by the Mayor Giuliani.”
The statement was signed by Michael Ragusa“Head of Security Mayor Giuliani.” Ragusa, and uploaded the post in conjunction with Giuliani, 81, added another message in the headline.

Ragusa went on to share that Giuliani, who served as Mayor of New York City between 1994 and 2001, “in a big mood.” Said to The New York Post On Sunday Giuliani will stay in hospital for two to three more days before wearing a brace. “He is a beast. He survived 9/11,” added Ragusa, referring to Giuliani’s time as mayor during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
Maria ryanApparently, a nursing practitioner and business partner Giuliani help oversee his care. He said to the outlet, “He is having further tests and stabilizing his injuries.”
