Bologna raised the Coppa Italia for the third time in the history of the club-and the first Cup triumph since 1974-after a 1-0 victory over Milan at the Olympic Stadium on Wednesday.
Dan Ndoye took what turned out to be the winner eight minutes after half the time, as I Rossoblu finished his 51 years of waiting for a major trophy.
Milan pursued a double domestic after its Italian supercopp earlier this season, but after a frantic start, it was a night that finally belonged to Bologna Cape, Vincenzo Italiano.

A date with the destination for Bologna in Rome
The two parties had faced the league just five days ago, with Milan winning 3-1. However, three decades have passed since its last meeting in this competition.
But the intention of both parties seemed evident from the outside when the game started electrically.
After five minutes, Rafael Leao returning to Bologna defense fell to the left before crossing Alex Jimenez, but the Milan striker could only send his efforts on the goal.

From a rebound, the ball fell to Ndoye, who took the winner when the sides met in February, and the Switzerland International remained fresh to pass in front of his man and passed ahead of Maignan.
He caused retirement scenes among Bologna fans on the stands, who knew that his side was just over 35 minutes of history.
Milan began to fight possession, but did not spend much time before Sergio Conceicao sounded the changes, introducing Joao Felix to try to return to the contest.
In the 71 minutes, Gimenez diverted Theo Hernandez’s low cross to the goal, but Skorupski was in hand to do what it turned out to be a rudimentary stop.

In the end, it imported little. Bologna endured the Cup and revealed on its date with the destination, 51 years in the preparation.
