The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) is all set to increase the seating arrangement at the BKC Stadium for the match between Mumbai and Jammu and Kashmir in the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy. The match between the two teams will take place from Wednesday (January 23) and Indian stars included Rohit Sharma will appear in the game.
The Mumbai team will also be filled with Indian stars in Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shreyas Iyer. together with him, Ajinkya Rahane he will also be there along with other exciting players, who will play the match against Jammu & Kashmir in the second round of the Ranji Trophy.
With big names in action, the Mumbai Cricket Association expects fans to turn up in large numbers to watch their favorite players. The stadium currently has a capacity of 100 spectators, and the Association is likely to increase it to 500 for the next match.

A source close to the Mumbai Cricket Association confirmed the development, saying fans will have to show their identity cards at the entry point. He also mentioned that there will be security measures at BKC. Speaking to the Times of India, he explained:
“Normally, there is seating for 100 spectators at the BKC, but we will have around 500 seats for fans near the ground machinery there. Fans will need to show their I-cards at the entry point. Considering the presence of the Indian stars, there will also be adequate security arrangements at BKC.”
