Rohit Sharma has finally broken his silence on the buzz surrounding alleged dressing room leaks during India’s high-profile tour of Australia. The Indian cricket team skipper also spoke about how the team has managed to stay focused amid reports of a rift in the dressing room.
During the Indian cricket team’s New Year Test against Australia in Sydney, Rohit Sharma highlighted the resilience of the team that is able to survive external distractions. The Indian captain has also stressed that this noise does not shock the Indian players.
Rohit Sharma acknowledged that such things are uncontrollable but insisted on the Indian cricket team’s unwavering commitment to their game, refusing to let off-field drama derail their mission. With a clear focus on winning games, he has insisted his priority remains success on the pitch, saying the players don’t pay attention to the off-field chatter.

Rohit Sharma in an interview to Star Sports said about the locker room leaks, “It doesn’t affect us because the players here are made of steel. We have tried our best to make players like this. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma has emphasized that cricket is a collective effort of the 11 players working together, and the Indian cricket team works as a team. The senior Indian batsman also reflected on staying true to his values, both on and off the field. Rohit explained: “When you can’t think for the team, we don’t want those kinds of players or captains. Team and team only. Why do we call it a team? It’s because 11 players play there. That’s why it’s called a team.
“I don’t want to speak for others. This is my thinking. This is how I have played my cricket. This is how I am in life, off the field as well. I do not want to portray something else. Who I am is what you see, if you don’t ‘like, forgive me what seems right to me, I will do it.
