WHO’s lead vocalist Roger Daltrey reveal that he has been struggling with multiple health issues.
“The joy of getting old means you are going deaf. I have now had the joy of going blind,” the rock star, 81, told the crowd at the Who’s Show Thursday, March 27, in London, in London Sky News. “Fortunately, I still have my voice.”
Daltrey joked once his voice was gone he would have a “full Tommy,” referring to the Rock Who’s 1969 opera, Tommy. The album tells the story of a fictional character called Tommy Walker who declares and becomes “deaf, dumb and blind” to the world around him.

“Four and a half weeks ago, I got my left -handed head replaced,” said Townshend, 79, before joking should “auction off the old one.”
WHO performed several shows in London last week for the Teenager Cancer Trust charity concert. Previously, Daltrey served as Curator of Royal Albert Hall Concerts Teenager Cancer Trust but recently stepped down from the post. He will continue to be the honorable patron of the Non -Still.

Entwistle died in 2002 at the age of 57. The group’s best -known drummer, Keith’s moonHe died in 1978 at the age of 32.
Following the passing of Entwistle, Daltrey and Townshend have kept the WHO alive over the last six decades. However, the two men have broken the idea of retirement. Townshend acknowledged that he and Daltrey were aware that they were “both old.”
“There is a disadvantage in itself … apart from what you can or you can’t do on stage,” he explained. “When you finish traveling, you come back to normal life – whatever you decide to do to fill your time off the road – and it’s harder and take longer.”
