In s new interview with Vogue announced on Monday, January 20, the 38-year-old actor, who shares his 10-month-old daughter with long-term girlfriend Suki Waterhousetalks about her unexpected parenting skills.
“I remember people used to be like, ‘Oh, don’t you like the smell of babies?’ but I thought they smelled the baby powder,” she said. “But then I had a baby, and I was like, ‘My baby smells amazing.’ There’s something there, I can recognize it. She doesn’t smell like other babies.”
Pattinson and Waterhouse, who have been dating since 2018, welcomed their daughter into the world in March 2024. Six months later, on the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards in New York, the model, actress and r singer that her man is a truly fantastic father.

“He is the greatest!” Waterhouse laughed, adding that she wasn’t sure who her daughter took after the most. “I don’t know. It’s always changing,” he said. “She has such a sweet nature. It’s very sweet to see.” And, by the sounds of things, smell!
Waterhouse, 33, also said Today in September that Pattinson even loves changing their daughter’s diapers. “He thinks it’s fun,” she said. “The surprise, and everything.”
It is clear that Pattinson threw himself into being a father with enthusiasm. At the Dior Homme Menswear Fashion Show in Paris last summer, he told reporters he was loving every minute. “She’s so cute,” he said. “And, you know, I’m amazed at how quickly their personality comes. So even after 3 months, I’m like, ‘Oh … I can already see who she is.’”

We always have so much to say, and I find it very funny.”
