Rob Lowe and Joel Mchale Both say they have never had plastic surgery – but they have no problem if anyone decides to have some work done.
“I’m a big believer in everyone who has the best in them they can come out anyway,” Lowe, 61, said on Wednesday, July 23, episode From his podcast “literally! with Rob Lowe”. “Whether it’s spiritual or physical or whatever. And if you want better hair, get it.”
His guest Mchale agreed, 53.
“I know that people like, ‘Oh, they shouldn’t have done work done,” he said. “You can say when people have done work done on their face. It’s strange when you can’t say.”
They then revealed whether they had any procedures made themselves.
“And I haven’t had anything yet. I’m swearing,” Mchale promised.
“The same, by the way, the same,” replied Lowe, before cracking a joke.
“The problem with going on record is in the end, I can be 80 and I look like a raisin, and then I display looks like the dose from St. Elmo’s fire Again, ”he said.“ I have to copy him. That’s the issue. “
Lowe has long been the subject of plastic surgery rumors but has never been publicly confirmed. In a January 2024 chapter of her podcast, the Parks and leisure Aluc credited his youthful looks to his sleeping schedule.
“I get a ton of sleep. Like, a swift amount,” he said. “I don’t want people to think something is wrong with me. It’s a lot of sleep, not 12 hours. But if there are ever 12 (an hour), I’m taking it.”
“I have a science,” he continued. “The eye mask, bose noise cancellation headphones. And I’m gone.”
Lowe added that his nutrition also played a role, as he remained aware of his sugar and carbohydrate intake. He has been a vocal advocate for Atkins’ diet, even becoming the face of Atkins advertising campaigns.
“It makes a big difference,” he said. “You are just as good as what you eat.”
Most importantly, it is now 35 years sober. Call its sobriety “Huge,” adding that he helps him avoid extra calories and inflated.
Part of his sobriety journey has included thanksgiving lists, which include his health and sobriety.
“Some things never change. My family, our health, my sobriety. And then I’m going into my dogs and the ability to do a job I love,” he said.
