Rishab Pant reveals why he did not use Ravi Bishnoi against Mrs. Dhoni

LuckNow Super Giants (LSG), directed by Ris Hurbh Pant, closed the horns with the MS DHoni, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), in the 30th Premier League (IPL) match 2025 on Monday, April 14.

After being invited to the game first, Lucknow Super Giants ended with a score of 166 for 7 on the board. Rishabh Pant scored for LSG with 63 runs, while Mitchell Marsh, Ayush Badoni and Abdul Samad made decent contributions.

Defending the score, the Lucknow Super Giants bowls could not do the job, and Rishabh Pant’s captaincy was also below par, as CSK allowed to pursue the target at 19.3 points. Ravi Bishnoi, who launched three forts, took two doctors, while Digvesh Rashi, Avesh Khan and Aiden Markram won a wick each.

Speaking after the game, LSG Captain Rishabh Pant said they were 10-15 shorts with the bat. Stated:

“We feel that as a team, we had 10 to 15 short films, we lost our doctors when we were with us. We had to continue to sew in collaborations.”

Ris Habh Pant said the pitch was stopping a little, but it was good for bat and added that he found his pace with the bat. Said:

“Wicket stopped a little, but we could have 15 more runs that I feel. I feel better with all the games, but sometimes it does not go out. Slowly entering my pace, taking every game at once.”

When asked about not using Ravi Bishnoi against Mrs. Dhoni on death, Pan said he had discussions with his teammates, but could not zero in the decision. Rishabh Pant said:

“We have argued with many players, but we couldn’t deepen him (Bishnoi) deeper, which (Bolos his last) did not happen today. Bowling in the Powerplay has been a concern for us, but we can throw things back. As a team we are looking for the positive of all games and we are trying to improve.”

How did LSG act in the previous IPL party against CSK?

In their previous game IPL against Chennai Super Kings, Lucknow’s Super Giants produced a memorable performance while chasing a 211 -run goal to record a 6 Wicket victory.

Bowling first in the game, the LSG bowls fought against the CSK batters. Yash Thakur, Mohsin Khan and Matt Henry took a wick each and allowed CSK to publish 210/4 on the board at 20 points.

Pursuing the goal, Marcus Stoinis went out to beat at number 3 after Kock Quinton fell for a duck at the opening. Despite the early setback and a slow power of power that ended at 45/2, Stoinis kept the nerve and began to accelerate.

It reached half a century in just 26 balls and kept LSG in hunting with 128 runs needed to win at the last 10. Nicholas Polan was supported by Nicholas Polan, and the duo hammer 70 runs into 31 balls before Polana left for 34.

Stoinis, however, remained unbeaten in the middle and completed his century in 56 balls. He finished his tickets with a total of 124 balls of 63 and guided Lucknow Super Giants to an epic victory at 19.3 points.
