Opting Bowl first in the game, Lucknow Super Giants shocked Sunrisers Hyderabad and destroyed his 300 -thrown dream. “Lord” Shardul Thakur directed the post with his transport of 4 wicket and other bowls took a wick each to restrict the opposition to 190/9 at 20 points.
With the bat, Nicholas Polan (70) and Mitchell Marsh (52) demolished the SRH bowling unit. Although LSG faced a few hiccups, they managed to complete the Chase at 16.1.
Speaking during the post-Party presentation ceremony, Rishab Pant said that winning against SRH was a great relief, but they believe in focusing more on the process and not on the results. Said:
“A great relief, but as a team, we are talking about the process. It’s not about getting too high when you win and not getting too far when you lose.”
While talking about losing the Indian rhythm unit due to injury problems, Ris Habh Pant said they focus on controllables and praised Prince Yadav and Shardul Thakur for his shine of bowling. Stated:
“As a team, we cannot focus on uncontrollable, my mentor said he focused on controllables and that’s what I did. It is good to see the way the prince threw himself and also Thakur was really good.”
Rishab Pant also gave a rich praise to Nicholas Polan, but said that Team LSG has not yet played his best cricket. Stated:
“(A Polan) You have to take office when he is beating well and he beat us brilliantly for us. The group comes well, we have not played our best so far, but happy to win.”
Lucknow Super Giants assumed Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 8 at the 57th Indian Premier League 2024 game in Hyderabad. They faced a humiliating loss of 10 wicket in the game with 62 remaining balls.
Opting first for BAT, LuckNow Super Giants (LSG) supported a nightmare outlet against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Quinton de Kock (2), Marcus Stoinis (3) and KL Rahul (29 of 33 years) fell cheap when they fought against the Bhuvneshwar Kumar Pealer. In addition, Krunal Pandya finished for 24 and LSG was left in 4/66.
After that, Ayush Badoni (55* of 30) and Nicholas Polan (48* off 26) provided LSG a late florida, but could only publish 165/4 on the board. The duo placed an uninterrupted stand of 99 run of 52 balls.
Defending the total, the LSG bowls had no answers to the Cape Travis assault (89* of 30) and Abhishek Sharma (75** of 28), as they made a mockery of the bowling attack, pursuing the target at only 9.4 points.
The five bowls granted more than 14 runs above. Yash Thakur (0/47 in 2.4 points) and Ravi Bishnoi (0/34 in 2 points) were especially expensive. Not only did the defeat affect LSG’s morale, but also made the owner of the Sanjiv Goenka team extremely furious, which exploded KL Rahul on the pitch.
