LuckNow Super Giants (LSG), led by Ris Hurbh Pant, closed the horns with the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), led by Pat Cummins (SRH) in the 61st Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 game.
LuckNow Super Giants lost the game against Hyderabad Sunrisers by 6 doctors on Monday, May 19, at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium by Lucknow.

History would have been different if … – RISABH Pant
First, Mitchell Marsh struck 65 runs of 39 balls, Aiden Markram reached 61 runs of 38 balls, and Nicholas Polan broke 45 runs of 26 balls to help LSG post 205/7 on the board.
Defending the total, the LSG bowls were not up to the brand and allowed the Chase to be completed at 18.2. With the defeat in the game, LuckNow Super Giants was eliminated from Playoffs race.
Speaking after the game with the stations, Ris Habh Pant said that they faced many injuries to IPL 2025 and if they had achieved all the bowls they had after the IPL auction, things could be different. Rishabh Pant said:
“Without a doubt, it could have been our best season. There was a lot of injuries. As a team, we decided not to talk -but it was difficult for us to close these gaps.”
“(Not having a bowling bowl) If we would have the same bowling attack we planned at the auction, the story would have been different. Sometimes things are not going on your way. We will still look positive instead of discussing the negatives.”
Bowler Rathi has done very well for us – Rishabh Pant
While talking about the season’s positives, Rishabh Pant said they have a strong battle unit. He made:
“We have a strong alignment of battles. We have enough fire power, which is the largest positive. Even bowls have been turned into good areas of the patches.”
“We were a few short ones because Wicket played well. We played well, but in the patches. When we look in the first half of our season, we did very well. But it was harder and harder to catch the sides of the brightest side.
In the end, Ris Habh Pant provided a praise rich in Digvesh Rathi for his heroics with the ball. Said:
“The Bowler Rathi has done very well for us. This is his first season. Really good to see the Bowl. It’s one of the positives of the season. As a team, you must keep improving and find ways to improve and better.”

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) offered a dominant performance throughout the round to defeat Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by five doctors on March 27, 2025, in Hyderabad. Pursuing in 191, they won a victory in only 16.1.
