LuckNow Super Giants Super Giants (LSG) blocked the horns with Ris Habh Ajinkya Rahane-Held Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 21st Premier League Indian 2025 (IPL 2025) game on Tuesday, April 8.

Defending the scoreboard, Lucknow Super Giants’ bowls were brought to the cleaners, but they did enough to restrict the opposition to 234/7 to seal a victory.
During the presentation ceremony after the game, LSG’s patron Rishab Pant said he was surprised that the game was very close. He added that the message to his bowling unit was only to keep in the plan without trying additional things. He made:
“I think when we beat, we didn’t realize it will approach, but after the power we did. After the first half, we went to the bowls and told them to stick to the plans, do not come too much and do the basic concepts well.”
Rishabh Pant once again used his smart tactics during the second post to stop the game when Kolkata Knight Riders’ bats went to Berserk. Speaking of this, he said:
“It was very conscious (to stop the game), when the game goes down to the pace you need to do something, sometimes it works and sometimes it does not work.”
Ris Habh Pant, surprisingly, did not go out to beat at number 4 in the midst of his bad shape, on the other hand, Abdul Samad was sent to the mayor at number 4, and even after his dismissal was so David Miller who entered bat. When talking about this movement, Rishabh Pant said:
“(When promoting Abdul Samad at No. 4) we wanted to keep the left right combination. The back is OK now.”
Lucknow Super Giants supported one of his most forgotten departures in his previous IPL game against Kolkata Knight’s riders at home, as they faced a mass loss of 98 runs.
The problem began for LSG while first bowling, as they were absolutely demolished by the KKR shake unit. Sunil Narine and other batters broke the bowls throughout the park and ended up publishing a huge 235/6 score on the board.
Ravi Bishnoi appeared as the cheapest diaper for LSG. It recorded figures of 1/33, while Naveen-Ul-Haq chose more doctors (3), but leaked 49 runs in its four points.
Chasing the goal, Lucknow Super Giants couldn’t go out. A 50 Run booth between Kl Rahul (25) and Marcus Stoinis (36) briefly offered hope, but once they left, the tickets rapidly revealed, with the last nine doctors falling for only 67 runs.
LSG was grouped by 137 in 16.1 as Rana and Varun Chakravarthy took three doctors each, while the rest of the bowls also shone.
