The ring surprisingly updated its last heavy weight rankings with Tyson Fury at # 1, though 0-2 Registration In their last two fights. This should be enough to eliminate the “gypsy king” from the ring ratings.
Agit Kabayel is below Fury and Joseph Parker on the updated list at number 3. This ranking is too low. The way Kabayel (26-0, 18 kos) struggles, beat Fury and Parker.
Kabayel did a much better job to defeat Zhilei Zhang from what Parker did, eliminating it in the sixth round in his last fight in February. In contrast, Parker was fallen twice by Zhang and forced to travel the distance of 12 rounds to win a majority decision by 2024.
Champion: Oleksandr Usyk
Apart from the strangeness of fury at number 1, the rest of the ranking is not too bad in comparison, but it is not yet good. If Tyson’s career continued at the helm as he had been when he defeated Deontay Wilder for the second time in 2021, a number 1 would be logical.
Fury’s victories have been coming against minor fighters, such as Dereck Chisora, Dillian Whyte and Francisco Ngannou. Question: Did the ring give Fury its ranking number 1 based on its passes many years ago? It is difficult not to see it, because if you go for the 0-2 record of Tyson and its controversial victory of the decision of ten rounds on Ngannou, it does not belong to the top 10 of the best heavy weights.
When you lose twice and you are given a decision against a potential of 0-0, Ngannou, does not value the top 10 or even the 15 best of the best heavy weight lists.
Smooth Parker Schedule
The ring has Joseph Parker at number 2. No one has hit anyone since he was eliminated by Joe Joyce in 2022. Recent Parker victories since then have come against Martin Bakole 310 pounds, Zhilei Zhang, 42, and Demtay Wilde, 39. They are not good wins for Parker to deserve a ranking number 2, unless we have lowered the bar for what is needed to receive this site.
