Former Australian Captain Ricky Ponting struck India Pacter Akash’s team for sending to the Workshop of England, Duckett, during the fifth test game at the Oval on Friday, August 1. Ponting said he would have shown physical aggression if this gesture had been addressed to him during his game days.

Ricky Ponting says he could have physically reacted to Akash Deep shipping
Ricky Ponting stated that he would have responded with a punch if Akash Deep had given him a similar shipment during his game days. The comment took place during the Sky Sports lunch hall on the 2nd, when presenter Ian Ward presented the incident involved in Akash and Ben Duckett.
“I can think of a few batsmen during the years that could be damaged, and I am looking a lot in your direction. This would have been a right hook, right?” asked Ian Warnd.
“Probably yes, probably,” Ponint responded.

Ricky Ponting expressed admiration for Ben Duckett’s calm reaction after being fired for Akash Deep. Ponting also added that his respect for the workshop of England had grown even more because he did not represent after the shipment.
“Although I mean, when I saw it, I just thought they had to be companions or play -one another somewhere or together. I would like to have something like that.”
“I mean, do not see it every day, maybe in a local park game or not in a test game that has been played as fierce as this series has been played. I love the way well Duckett interprets his cricket. I think I like more now for not being able to react with this,” said Ponting.
Yasasvi Jaiswal helped India recover from a deficit of first innings and to take a 52 lead at the end of the day. The bowls dominated when the 15 doctors fell on Friday. India added only 20 runs to its score during the night of 204-6 before being overturned by 224.
