Danity Kane’s Richard’s talent Took the witness’s stand for the second time on Monday, May 19, to testify in the case of her former Sean “Diddy” combs.
Richard, 41, answered questions about Designy’s relationship with the ex-boyfriend of Cassie, who testified last week for four days. On Monday, US Assistant Attorney Mitzi Steiner Richard asked about what he saw between Desan, 55, and Cassie, 38, between 2009 and 2011 when he was part of the trio’s dirty money (with Diddy and Kalenna Harper).
Former Danity Kane member claimed to “often” see Designed to be violent with Cassie (Full name Casandra Ventura), claiming that he would “punch it, choke it, drag it, slap it in the mouth.” She went on to claim to “see her kicking her” and “punched in the stomach.”
Digy was arrested in September 2024 and charged with sex trade, racing conspiracy and transport to participate in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges and has denied all the allegations against him.

Speaking on Monday, Richard detailed several separate cases of alleged violence committed by Designy. He claimed that one had happened in a Central Park concert where he saw Diddy Punch Cassie in his face using his closed fist. “Her eye was swollen,” Richard claimed, adding that she and other members of Divine Entourage were wearing sunglasses to the festival in unity with Cassie.
On another occasion in 2010, he allegedly punched Cassie in the stomach at a restaurant in West Hollywood where celebrities and other workers from Diddy’s record label, Bad Boy, attended.
Later, Richard further claimed, Diddy saw a cassie grab around the neck, slapped her on the mouth and told her to “shut up the f ***.”
Richard went on to claim that a number of Designed workers had witnessed the alleged abuse, including former Bad Boy executive Harve Pierresecurity guards D-rock and Roger bonds and assistants Capricorn Clark and “Mia,” the last of them is another alleged victim of Diddy’s that he is expected to attest.
The singer explained that she had urged Cassie to leave Designy, but Cassie said she was “torn” about it. When Diddy discovered that Richard and Cassie had these conversations, Richard claimed he told her to stay out of his relationship “or otherwise he is going to pay for her.”
Ultimately, said Richard, she stopped trying to intervene in the relationship because she did not feel Cassie was ready to move forward. According to Richard, the reasons for the alleged abuse of Cassie were “varied.” He claimed that he could “be Cass speaking for himself,” “he could be random” or could “have a view.”
When cross -examination, a defense attorney Nicole Westmoreland Richard asked for the evidence he gave On Friday, May 16, when she claimed to see Designy once trying to hit Cassie with a hot skillet. Westmoreland asked the singer if it has been “difficult to keep your story the same” about the alleged incident because she put a little different accounts about him in different conversations with lawyers, but Richard replied, “No, I would not agree with that.”
Westmoreland finished her cross -examination by asking Richard about her efforts to continue working with Digy even after she left Bad Boy. When the attorney said, “You were trying to succeed for a long time,” Richard responded, “I have succeeded.”
When questioning redirects, Richard tabled questions about why his stories have sometimes changed. “Every day it becomes easier to remember some things,” he told the court. “I try my best to do it to the best of my ability.” She added that she had “no doubt” saw Diddy dragging Cassie upstairs on the day of the egg event.
In terms of why Richard once asked Designy about the possibility of reuniting dirty money, he claimed to be a favor of all -fand Harper, who thought she was having a difficult time. “I didn’t want to go back,” he said. “She wasn’t good. I didn’t want that.”

Richard began her evidence late Friday and claimed to see Designy once tried to hit Cassie with a newly used hot frying pan to cook eggs. “He came downstairs and said, ‘where yf *** was in his eggs’ and he told Cassie that she never got anything right and where the f *** was his food,” he claimed. “And he came to the skill with the eggs in it and tried to hit her over his head, and fell to the ground.”

In his suit, Richard claimed, among other things, that Design was mistrusted by forcing her to practice 48 hours at a time without sleep, which led to dehydration and fatigue that caused her to develop rashes. She also claimed that he promised to develop her singing career if she complied with her requirements.
Diddy denied Richard’s claims in a statement in September 2024 shared through his attorney Erica Wolff. “Mr Combs is in shock and disappointed by this legal case.
