RHOBH’s Erika Jayne Says Sutton Stracke Can Be ‘Mean’ To Her Costars

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Erika Jayne believes her costars have reason to be disappointed in him Sutton Strake.

“We’re mad at Sutton because Sutton likes to kick a dog when they’re down,” Jayne, 53, exclusively said Us Weekly Tuesday night, January 7. “That’s a fact. I don’t think anyone looking at this without prejudice would say anything different.”

Strake, 53, has not seen eye to eye with him Dorit Kemsley this season on Bravo’s hit reality show – especially as she deals with a public divorce from PK Kemsley.

At one point, the girls got into an explosive fight during a cast trip to Oceanside, California, where Stracke announced to her costar: “You’re not mad at me. You’re angry about your life.”

The row came just days after Strake wrote an essay about friendship and sisterhood. Her words were later shared with the cast during a sisterhood ritual at a filmed dinner.

“I never bought into the sisterhood because you have to lead by example,” Jayne explained to we, referring to Stracke’s essay. “It’s great to say things, but then you have to do it and you can’t do it once. It has to be consistent and it wasn’t. It’s a lot of nice words but you have to lead. You have to put in the action.”

Strake first started filming with Jayne in 2020 when she was a “friend” of the show in season 10. Although the pair continue to work together through the current season, Jayne isn’t sure who can call Stracke a true friend.

“Sometimes (she’s a friend). I consider that we are on friendly ground more so now than ever,” he said. “I enjoy Sutton when it’s full of fun and excitement. I don’t enjoy it when it’s mean.”

Jayne isn’t the only Bravo star trying to figure out where she stands with Strake. On the January 7 episode, a newcomer Saint John’s Bozoma questions whether Stracke is “delusional” or “mean.”

According to Jayne, the answer to that question is not always clear.

“I think there are times when Sutton is mean and there are times when she is lonely,” he said. “We can all be a little delusional. We are all eccentric in our own ways. We can all be petty but there are times when we’ve all been mean to each other.”
