Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Dorit Kemsley gives a status update on her marriage to PK Kemsley.
“We’re standing exactly where we were at the beginning,” said Dorit, 48, on Tuesday, January 7, RHOBH After Show when asked where she and PK are standing after announcing their separation in May 2024.
Dorit continued, “There’s movement but it’s not moving forward – from left to right. I’d love to move on, and I’m constantly trying to advocate for that.”
“Ask me in another six months. Hopefully I’ll have a better answer,” she added, noting that she and PK, 57, “have work to do” to resolve the issues between them.
During Tuesday’s episode of RHOBA, Dorit remembered to costar Saint John’s Bozoma marriage counseling session with PK where he allegedly shouted, “This is why I want a divorce and I don’t want to be married to this woman.”
On the After ShowDorit described the alleged comments as “a dagger in the heart.”
“It wasn’t like smart, ‘Listen Dorit, I’ve reached a point in our marriage where I want a divorce.’ You don’t know if it’s reactive. It’s like, ‘Wait a minute, this is the first time you’ve said it.’ These are serious words,” he said. “I have a right to know your feelings. I don’t understand.”
As for whether the couple reunite or proceed with a divorceDorit is uncertain.

“Am I preparing for a divorce? Aren’t I? It’s such a thought—,” he explained to Bozoma. “When we’ve made up (and) we’re peaceful, (he said), ‘Oh, please, I’m saying things!’ It’s so hard.”
Dorit also told Bozoma that the uncertainty of whether she and PK will divorce or not part of why she hasn’t told their children – son Jagger, 10, and daughter Phoenix, 8 – about their separation.
“He and I need to figure it out so I can prepare them. That’s one of the biggest reasons why I didn’t want to tell them right away,” he shared. “It’s a game of ping-pong. I don’t want my kids to have to deal with that.”
Dorit and PK announce their separation last May after almost a decade of marriage. “We as a couple have been the subject of a lot of speculation about our marriage. We’ve had our struggles over the past few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together,” the pair wrote in a statement shared via Instagram. “In order to protect our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the difficult decision together to take some time away from each other and re-evaluate our relationship as we prioritize our children. We appreciate your love and support as we continue to do the necessary work along this journey. With love, Dorit and PK.”

The result of the couple’s separation was shown during the RHOBA season 14 premiere in November 2024.
Speaking to Us Weekly only before the premiere, Dorit said that she and PK had not yet discussed an actual divorce.
“We are navigating this period,” he explained. “I really hope that regardless of where we go – I think if we end up getting back together – there’s a lot of work that needs to be done. You don’t get to this place and want to jump back in the saddle without doing the work you know is necessary to really enjoy the marriage and get the communication you need.”
