Rescued NASA astronauts give first interview after returning to Earth to Fox News exclusive

“My first thought was that we just got to the turn,” Williams said, reminding that the duo learned that their return would be postponed.

“When our spacecraft intended to go home on the basis of decisions made here, and we were going to be there” until February, it seemed to me, “Let’s do our best.”

A little “excited” about the prospect of spending months in orbit, Williams admired his love for life in space – watching “scientific experiments” that unfold around them and seeing changes made to the international space station since its last visit.
