The Republican legislator stated that he had reunited with his two daughters who attended a Christian summer camp that was destroyed when Deadly Floods He swept through Central Texas last weekend.

“Camille, Vivian and I will now be reunited with Caroline and Julian, who were evacuated from the mystic camp,” Pluger said of his family. “The last day has brought an incredible grief to many families, and we grieve with them, and also keep hope for survivors.”
As of Sunday morning, five young girls who were in the mystic camp were confirmed by the dead. Kerer County representatives confirmed that 27 vacationers were 36 hours after the flood. There were 750 visitors when the water wall crashed into the camp.

“The camp was completely destroyed,” said the Associated Press, 13-year-old Eleanor Leicester, one of the hundreds of vacationers. “The helicopter landed and started picking up people. It was really scary.”

In a separate post, PFLUGER praised the heroism of the camp advisers and others who acted to save life in the midst of the flood.

PFLUGER said the co -owner of the mystic camp Dick Eastland has sacrificed his life to save the girls visiting the camp.
“Dick Eastland Camp Mystic is undoubtedly gave it to his life trying to save his vacationers,” Pfluger wrote in the third message.. “For decades, he and his wife Tweed poured their lives into loving and developing girls and women. Thank you Mr. Eastland. We love you and miss you.”

PFLUGER asked the public to “pray for miracles” when crews continue to look for survivors from the flood, including 11 young girls and one advisor who went missing from the camp.
