Marcus Rashford provided his first attendance for Barcelona during a 6-0 touch of Valencia at the Johan Cruyff stadium of 6,000 places.
Fermin López, Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski marked twice as much as the Spanish champions dominated from beginning to end.
Raphinha, who appeared in the middle, opened his account for the night to get 2-0 with a left cross finish that was wound by Manchester United, Rahford, Rashford.
Manchester United Portanye, which started only for the second time in Barcelona, played 67 minutes and impressed with his movement and his bonding game, although two of his efforts were closely wide.
López had given leadership in Barcelona before running with a clean pass of Ferran Torres before adding a spectacular strike from outside the box to make it 3-0. Raphinha then scored his fourth with a fierce walk in front of the goalkeeper of Valencia.
Lewandowski, also introduced from the bench, added a fifth end of Dani Olmo’s pass calm before encrying on a sixth, a goal that was initially discarded out of play, but later awarded by VAR.
Barcelona could have expanded the score even more, with towers hitting the stick after another excellent rashford cross found it in the box.
