Chelsea and Brentford interpreted a 2-2 dramatic tie at the GTECH community stadium, with bees rescuing a point in the stoppage after the Blues had mounted a comeback in the second half.
The first half was frustrating for the side of Enzo Maresca. Despite dominating possession, Chelsea had no pace and penetration to the final third.

But Brentford, as they do so often, refused to fold. Going up the bodies forward in stopping time, they won a long launch in the territory of Chelsea. Kristoffer Ajer placed it on the nearby post, and Fabio Carvalho fantasized in the space in the rear post to turn it home.
