Repeat the Valley: Jax Taylor admits distress over Brittany Cartwright

Jax Taylor Seems ready to own some of his bad behavior.

During the episode Tuesday, June 3, from The valleyThe Reality Star took a break from working on itself in an inpatient treatment facility to check with Costar Jason Caperna.

“I’m so tired of anger. I’m so tired of shouting,” Jax, 45, shared before recognizing some mistakes with his disengaged wife Brittany Cartwright. “I pushed her away too. I pushed her away and I didn’t even see her. I didn’t even realize what I was doing. I’ve come off with it for so long until I see this is acceptable behavior and obviously not.”

According to Jax, going to a treatment facility was a big “waking call”.

“I wish I was more accountable,” he told Jason, 41, while holding back tears. “I wish Brittany would have left me a long time ago.”

In August 2024, Brittany filed for divorce from Jax after five years of marriage. The couple shares a son, Cruz, 4, who recently been diagnosed with autism.

“I hear recognition from Jax that he realized that his behavior was inappropriate and has been inappropriate for a walk,” Janet, 40, divided in a confessional interview. “It’s a good start, and I’m hopeful that it’s starting to change. We’ll see what happens from here.”

Jason added, “This is the first time I have spoken to you and you have taken accountability for things and have not said, ‘I messed up but…'”

Later at the show, however, Brittany expressed doubts that the treatment facility actually has a positive impact on her disengaged husband.

According to Brittany, Jax e -mail sent her saying he will not pay more money on the mortgage that they both share. She soon left her bombs wondering what might happen next.

“I was always hopeful that being at the facility would make some kind of change or open his eyes a little to do something better,” he said. “But based on his behavior all the time he has been there, I have been so worried that he has not learned a damning thing.”
