Sofer and Bookstaver renew their marriage resolutions in May 2024.
“This weekend on what would have been a wedding anniversary at the age of 21, I had to remarry my best friend @sbookstaver again,” Sofer wrote through Instagram at the time. “The journey we are about to start is the most exciting adventure, in a new state and town, but the most thrilling is that we have to do it together as a husband and wife!”
Sofer further noted that their three -year separation was “humble and heartbreaking, but essential for us to find each other again.”
“The love I have towards you now is the foundation of my life,” he concluded. “I can’t imagine another moment without walking with you with hand in hand and our hearts immersed. You are the love of my life, and not” Oops we did so again “but I am so grateful that we have done it yet!”
Bookstaver echoed softer feelings in his own Instagram tribute.
“We were divorced for a few years, spent separate time working on ourselves, and then coming back together stronger than ever. I remarried my best friend and his soul again,” he said. “Life with you has never been better, and I am the lucky man alive to spend the rest of my life with you @rena.Sofer. This is a brand new age together and for all @of our new adventures. I love you more than anything in the world.”
