The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) stated that “indignant” at the death of eight doctors killed in Rapha in southern Gaza.
On March 23, the ambulance team of nine people came under a heavy fire in al-Hashin, IFRC reported. Their bodies were obtained on Sunday after accessing was refused within a week. One physician is still missing.

“Even in the most difficult conflict zones, there are rules. These rules of international humanitarian legislation cannot be clearer – civilians must be protected; humanities must be protected. Health care services must be protected.”
IDF has not publicly commented on the Red Cross and the Red Crescent.
AFP reports that on Saturday, the Israeli military admitted that they fired an ambulance in Southern Gaza last Sunday after identifying them as “suspicious vehicles”.
