Tim Tszyu’s training and management team is receiving many fans and media criticism for their seventh round of loss of stoppage at the Junior Middleweight WBC champion on Saturday night in Las Vegas.
The decision of her direction to go back up with the founder of 6.5 “took place second after the disaster last weekend. The Tim’s training team is under fire due to the lack of improvement in her game. It seemed like the same fighter who had been in her loss to Fundora in 2024.
“If they had stopped this struggle in the second or third round, Tim’s career could have gone in a different direction,” said Chris Mannix to his canal About Tim Tszyu’s first struggle against Sebastian Fundora in 2024 when she was badly cut off in the second round. “I would not have had to fight against Bakhram Murtazaliev for a world title.”
Tszyu’s training team could have been concerned about their reaction if they were released after maintaining their reduction in the Fundora’s struggle. Understandably, they would be hesitant to stop the contest if they were worried about facing their anger later and possibly fired. He had lost no one until his career and could have thought he would arrive in Sebastian sooner or later with his fist power.
“He becomes and surpasses Joey Spencer and his team believes that he is ready for a resale with Fundora. He needed at least two fights, perhaps three to reach the level of competencies and confidence to combat Fundora for the second time. You saw something different from Tim Tszyu? The movements of the head no. His training team and his management staff has done a terrible job.”
Tszyu cannot be blamed for being precipitated in the second struggle with Fundora. The money Tszyu obtained for the resale with Fundora was too tempting for him not to fight him for the second time. If Tim would have chosen to wait, maybe the struggle would not have been. With Fundora entering Harvard, he will not be able to keep at the helm for a long time, given the time commitments involved.
“During the last year they put their fighter in undesirable situations. If Tim Tszyu wants to move on, he must renew -everything. He has to clean house,” said Mannix.
An obvious movement for Tszyu would be to replace the entire training team from top to bottom. Eliminate them all and replace them with a tested coach and a team of winners.
“ 30 years old and fired already? They were put against a 6’6 ” southpaw and then put it with this unbeaten and hard Russian (IBF Bakhram Murtazaliev champion) and then give him a gimme (Joey) Spencer, to regain his confidence, “Sergio Mora said about the party that was held for Tszu.
Tszyu can still be savable. He combined with two fighters who were wrong for him and would have hit him at any stage of his career. Its management must be more selective in the fighters they choose.
The division of 154 lb is a Hazardous fighters field This would probably do the same to Tszyu who did it Murtazaliev and Fundora. Tszyu is a good fighter, but plus a contestant than a championship fighter. Tim has to go to heavy weight because he will never win another world title in a half junior weight. There are too many excellent fighters in the division that are younger and have higher skills than it.
What boxing fans do not remember is that Tszyu was elevated to Wbo champion in 2023, instead of winning it inside the ring. If I had to fight one of the main names of Junior Middleweight, I would probably never have won the Wbo title.

“Then they put him back with a” hell “(founder). It was a career that was left so immediately that he had so much potential to make money that changed his life. One or two bad decisions ruined this child’s career,” said Mora.
Initially, Tszyu’s management team believed that he would manage Fundora as if he had made other fighters when they were submitted as a late replacement in 2024 after Keith Thurman was injured. Tim had seemed unbeatable to that time. Fundora had recently been eliminated by Brian Mendoza, one of Tszyu’s victories.
