Real Madrid retained a return from Borussia Dortmund to achieve a 3-2 dramatic victory in a meeting of the Club World Cup.
Gonzalo Garcia’s goals, Fran Garcia and Kylian Mbappe were enough for the hosts, despite a late resurgence of visitors, with Maximilian Beier and Serhou Guirassy strikes.
The game was from Madrid from the outset with the two parts that showed attacking intent. Dortmund threatened it very soon through Julian Brandt and Serhou Guirassy, but it was Real Madrid who hit the first.
In the 10th minute, the young striker Gonzalo García opened the score with a completed finish in the lower corner after a well -weighted cross by Arda Guler.
Ten ten minutes later, Fran Garcia doubled the Lead of Madrid, making a loose ball in the box to shoot at home with his left foot.
The 2-0 pillow gave more confidence with Xabi Alonso and dominated possession for great spells in the first half. Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham approached the leadership before the interval, while Dortmund greatly restricted its long extent.

At halftime, Dortmund made several tactical changes, introducing Beier Maximilian, Felix Nmecha and Yan Couto in the hope of causing a comeback.
In particular, Beier had an instantaneous impact, forcing Thibaut Courtois to save the second part. However, Madrid remained dangerous on the counter, and both Luka Modric and Kylian Mbappe, introduced in the 67th minute, tried Gregor Kobel with efforts.
The drama really started in time of stoppage. In the 90th minute, Dortmund’s persistence finally paid off when Beier fired the past Courtois, giving visitors a lifestyle.
But their hopes were almost immediately erased. A minute later, Arda Guler handed a brilliant cross that Mbappe stuck, hitting a fabulous bike in the lower corner.
However, the game had one more turn. In the 96th minute, the Hujsen substitute dean showed a straight red card for a free kick in the box, granting a penalty in the process.
The Dortmund striker rose and sent the kick to the upper left corner, making it 3-2 and setting up a final final frantic.
With Madrid up to ten men, Dortmund advanced in search of an equalizer. Marcel Sabitzer had a golden opportunity in the added time, but Courtois was again the difference, passing down to his left to maintain the effort of the midfielder and preserve the victory.
