London Spirit has named Mo Bobat as Cricket Director, with his possession from October 1, 2025, in the middle of one hundred25.
Mo Bobat has been the director of Cricket of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) since the 2024 IPL season. He brought with him for a decade of experience from the Cricket Board of England and Wales (ECB), where he served as a performance director from 2019.

He abandoned the ECB in February 2024 to join RCB, but his association with the franchise had begun earlier as a consultant.

Bobat’s strong bond with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, the main coach, Andy Flower, who built during their ECB days, has further increased their possibilities for the most important role of the IPL team.
In RCB, Bobat oversees everything from Scouting and talent recruitment to the formation of performance strategies and the creation of a culture aimed at long -term success. He was a key figure behind the triumphs of England in the World Cup of Hate 2019 and the World Cup of T20 2022.

And earlier this year, under his leadership, RCB raised his first IPL trophy in 2025. Given his rich portfolio, Bopat was appointed Cricket director for London Spirit in the hundreds.
However, it will continue its functions with RCB. With his appointment, London Spirit began preparing for the next season as the tournament is going through the transformation.
Like the other seven teams, London Spirit now operates under a joint property model: MCC controls the majority participation of 51% and technology titans based in the United States with the remaining 49%. However, the name London Spirit will remain for the moment, but fans can expect a new identity in early 2026.

In the meantime, Mo Bobat expressed his excitement to join London Spirit, calling -a special moment in his career. Now he is looking forward to working with MCC and the new Tech Titans co -owners to create something memorable both in the field and off the field.
