The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Cricket director, Mo Bobat, confirmed that Josh Hazlewood is still recovering from the shoulder injury as IPL 2025 resumes.
Currently, the Australian Pealer is in his hometown, Australia, and is in rehabilitation to work in his physical fitness. Hazlewood confirms that it will be available for subsequent RCB matches in the season.

Mo Bobat to RCB Skipper
Mo Bobat also confirmed that Rajat skateboard is ready to lead RCB in the first game after the resumption against Kolkata Knight riders at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on May 17.

Mo Bobat reacts to IPL suspension
When IPL 2025 was immediately suspended, Bobat admitted that it was extremely difficult to organize the security and travel agreements with a short notice for staff and players.

“ Once we got the calendar, we didn’t have much time to try to understand what we needed to do to prepare for our first game. So during the night we tried to find out as many security details as possible because we had to communicate -we made a very quick decision to communicate -we had to communicate to the Indian players about when we wanted to return, ” said Bobat.
Bobat himself coordinates with all cricket boards to plan arrangements for players to join the squad again. He also revealed that Andy Flower, a title coach of Royal Challengers, Bengaluru, is video that asks for logistical arrangements for players to feel safe.

“ So there were a lot of communications to do. Andy and I aligned the video calls with all the players abroad. We talked to each of them, we took them through the security detail, took them to the program and we talked to them about how the RCBs was careful, which is really important for them to understand them because we want them to feel safe and happy here, ” added Bobat.
