RCB, CSK turned away -when Suresh Raina announces his next IPL team

Former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star Suresh Raina revealed the team he would choose if he was given the opportunity to return to the IPL. Raina said he would prefer to play Mumbai Indians (MI) on the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and added that he would love to play with Rohit Sharma.

Suresh Raina represented only two franchises: Chennai Super Kings and the now Gujarat Lions deaths in his IPL race. The SouthPaw departed from all the forms of Cricket, including the IPL, in September 2022. Its last appearance in the League arrived in October 2021 during a game against the Rajasthan Royals.

Raina said it would be best to be part of a program with legendary players such as Rohit Sharma, Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Bravo, Harbhajan Singh, Ashish Nehra and Zaheer Khan. He described me as the best franchise and said he would love the opportunity to form -part.

Suresh Raina’s illustrious race for Chennai Super Kings on IPL

Suresh Raina is widely considered as one of the most consistent performers in the history of the IPL. Chennai Super Kings chose not to retain it after a bad race in the 2021 season. He entered the 2022 IPL Mega auction with a base price of 2 ₹ crore, but he did not resist.

More than 11 seasons with the franchise, Raina scored 4,687 runs in 171 tickets, including 33 years and a century. The left hand batter is second in the list of all current time for CSK. He played a key role in the CSK Triumphs title in 2010, 2011, 2018 and 2021.

In general, Raina played 205 IPL games and scored 5,528 runs at an average of 32.52 and a strike rate of more than 136. The SouthPaw announced its withdrawal from the international cricket on August 15, 2020, along with Mrs. Dhoni.
