IBF light champion, Raymond Matalla vs. #3, Andy Cruz is possible for the November card in Riad, Saudi Arabia. The agreement must be completed. It would be the first defense of Matalla after being elevated to the 135 -pound champion IBF.
Other fights on the November card
Cruz (6-0, 3 kos) could steal the show for the event if he listens to the great Matalla Punxó (23-0, 17 kos) if he becomes the type of performance he made in his last fight against Hironori Mishiro last June at the Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Muratalla captured the light title of IBF Interim last May with a victory of the unanimous decision of 12 rounds on Zaur Abdullav.
Some fans are already seeing this struggle, while Muratalla gave the title IBF to Cruz because he does not have the technical ability to defeat Cuban talent. Hopefully, Muratalla is entertaining as long as it lasts.
“I have been informed that there is a strong possibility that Raymond Matalla defends its lightweight IBF world title against Andy Cruz on November card in Riyad. X.
The 2020 Olympic Gold Medal, Cruz, seems to be the best fighter in the light division after only two years in the professional ranks. Keyshawn Davis did not want to fight him before leaving the division and Shakur Stevenson Will not even mention his name. This is a fighter that Cruz would like to fight, but no feelings are mutual.
This is a clear sign that Cruz is a fighter with whom none of the best fighters wants to mix it because of what he could do in his career. The negative side of this is that Cruz will avoid the plague, unless Turki Alralikh attracts them to face him.
