His uninterrupted stay at the top lasted about 1,151 remarkable days, which is more than 38 months. This register reflects Jadja’s exceptional capacity to offer consistent and shocking actions in different series, conditions and test opponents.

Jadja’s record of the record journey was set on March 9, 2022, when he dethroned Western Indies‘ Jason Holder to claim the first place in the ICC test rankings. That moment marked the beginning of an extraordinary stretch of dominance in the red ball cricket. From that day on, Jadja kept his status number 1 through numerous series of bilateral tests and high pressure matches, never once surpassed by any other competitor. This section spent almost three years, during which it showed a consistent brightness in both the battle and bowling departments.

Jadja’s magnificent performance for India on the test cricket
Jadja has not only maintained the number 1 position through the ranking algorithm, but also justified it with its real performances in the field. Since March 2022, he has played 23 trial games, scoring 1,175 runs with an impressive average of 36.71. These runs have included three centuries and five fifty, often scored in situations where India needed stability or acceleration. On the bowling front, Jadja has also been, if not more, devastating.
He has claimed 91 doctors during this period with an amazing average of 22.34. Jadja’s test trip began in 2012 and, over the years, has been transformed into a bowl in a whole pot. So far, he has participated in 80 test games, scoring 3,370 runs to a healthy average of 35, which includes three centuries and 19 years. He has also destroyed 219 four and 49 six, reflecting his aggressive but reliable style. Their contributions with the ball are even more noteworthy. With 323 doctors in his name, including the best 7/42 figures in an entry and 10/110 in a party, Jadja is one of the most successful spinners in India.
