India’s legendary spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has chosen his team for Troophy 2025 Champions. His team included four Victorious Indian team players and had no Pakistani player.
The four Indian players who came to Ravichandran Ashwin’s performance are virated Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakravarthy. All of these players struck during the tournament and helped India lift the trophy.
Ravichandran Ashwin chose Rachin Ravindra and Ben Duckett as team openers. Ravindra appeared as the main point of view of the tournament with 263 runs in five games at an average of 65.75. He was also awarded as a tournament player.
On the other hand, Ben Duckett was one of the few bright lights for England. He scored 227 runs in three games with an average of 75.66 and a strike rate of 108.61, which appeared as the third highest scorer in the tournament.
Ravichandran Ashwin chose Kohli and Shreyas Iyer of India as Batters no. 3 and no. 4 on the line. Kohli scored 218 runs at an average of 54.50, while Iyer appeared as the highest in India with 243 runs at an average of 48.60.
Josh Inglis of Australia is the Wicketkeeper designated next to it. Inglis was excellent with the gloves and also played a magnificent 120* coup against England to help Australia pursue a score of more than 350.
Ravichandran Ashwin, David Miller, is drained to number 6. The left side scored 100 of 67 balls unbeaten in the semifinal against New Zealand that went in vain, but was very impressive during his blow.
The Azmatula Omarzai of Afghanistan and Michael Bracewell in New Zealand will play the roles of a All Rounder in the lower order. Both impressed with the bat and the ball and provided a balance on the team.
Ashwin chose two Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakravarthy Bolters as the main spinners of the team. Both Kuldeep and Chakravarthy were bright in the useful place of Dubai.
Chakravarthy was especially impressive and came as the second tallest wick to collect 9 doctors despite playing only three games in the tournament. On the other hand, Kuldeep took 7 doctors in five games.
Matt Henry has been chosen as a solo specialist in this line. Henry picked up 10 doctors in four games with an average of 16.70 and ended as a maximum wick of the tournament.
The tournament was played in three cities in Pakistan – Lahore, Rawalpindi, Karachi – and Dubai according to the hybrid model. While Pakistan’s launches were friendly, Dubai’s pitch had enough help for spinners that India used well.
The blue men played with four spinners in the form of Varun Chakravarthy, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadja. It worked in his favor, as the opposition found it difficult to deal with them.
