The Superstar of the 26-year-old Afghanistan Cricket National Team, Rashid Khan has made a colossal retirement statement, saying that he wants to play an international game in his homeland before saying goodbye to the Cricket.

In the latest program Future Tours (FTP), Afghanistan will host the West Indies and New Zealand in their homeland in January and February, and if the men of Maroon and the Kiwis travel to the country, it will be a historic occasion for the Afghans.
Speaking to The National during an event in Dubai, Rashid Khan said that playing an international game in Afghanistan would be a dream time for him, but it was pessimistic to happen at any time.
“It’s now in the FTP. But when the time comes, you will only know if it is happening. There have been so many games scheduled in Afghanistan in the FTP over the years, but they have never taken place. But we hope it happens. It is good for Cricket and well for Afghanistan,” said Rashid Khan.
“Well, if it eventually happens, this will be a kind of dream of playing international cricket in Afghanistan. I hope this will come before withdrawing -me of my sport. This is something I dream of: playing in front of my crowd of home. So, we hope this happens in the future,” he added.

Rashid Khan called the T20 2024 World Cup one of the main hits of Afghanistan and said he gave them great confidence. Said:
“It’s something that gave us so much confidence. I think this has given us so much positive energy. As a team, we just follow and go, and we have supported this trust.
“We are not receiving enough cricket you want as a nation, especially against the big sides. The more opportunities you get, the better you will get.”

Afghanistan aims to perform a good performance at the next Cup in Asia 2025 and the series against Pakistan will help them prepare for the tournament.
“T20S in Pakistan is a great preparation for us who takes us to the Asia Cup, if it happens. As a team, we played a lot of great cricket in the last two or three years and we have to continue with this good shape, a good cricket and what is most important, these efforts,” said Rashid Khan.
Rashid Khan, who is possibly the best T20 cricket in the world, has seen a slight fall in his career since he faced injuries last year. In general, he has taken 45 test doctors, 199 Hate doctors and 161 T20I doctors for Afghanistan in his career.
