Raphinha has expressed his desire to stay with Barcelona for the rest of his career after Signing an extension of one year With LaLiga champions.
Brazil Forward put the pen on paper in an agreement that will keep it with Barça until the end of June 2028.
His new contract occurs after a prominent season in which Raphinha, after being appointed one of the Barça captains for the campaign, inspired the Barça to a LaLiga and Cup of King Double.
Barça also won the Espana Super Cup and reached the Champions League semifinals, losing a remarkable draw with Inter Milan in an additional time of a second section of the second stage in San Siro.
Directing Barça’s Final of LaLiga against Athletic Bilbao, Raphinha has scored 34 goals and 22 attendance in all competitions this season, and many saw him as a contestant to win the Golden Ballon.
And Raphinha is served as a talisman for Barça far beyond 2028.
Raphinha said on the Club’s streaming platform, a one boat: “It’s a very special thing, and feeling -part of Barça’s family for another year makes me feel very happy.
“I have already told my family that my dream is to be here until the end of my career and I hope to do it, but at my best level.”
Raphinha scored only 13 goals from the league during his first two seasons with Barça after being part of Leeds United.
Prior to his change under Flick, Raphinha was considered a player that Barça could sell to help their financial situation.
But with his future now sure, Raphinha is eager to base his dramatic form in shape.
“I am now Raphinha, the father and the captain,” he added.
“I have more responsibility than when I arrived, but well, the years pass and you ripe and I think I have matured a lot since I arrived here.
“But I think I can still mature much more and with the help of everyone, I hope to turn a better person and a better footballer.
“I want to keep scoring a lot of goals, assists and, above all, gaining many titles in this shirt. This is my personal goal.”
