The Barcelona striker, Raphinha, has made it clear that any possible new arrival will have to coincide with his determination and effort if they want to secure a place next to Hansi Flick.
In a recent interview, the Brazilian star went to Barcelona’s interest by Luis Díaz de Liverpool and Marcus Rashford, by Liverpool, saying he is open to the challenge.
“I don’t care,” Raphinha said. “After this season, I will not say that a headline is guaranteed, but who comes in will have to work more than me.”
His relaxed attitude marks a change from last year, when he reacted to the club’s bonds with Nico Williams of the Athletic Club.
The Brazilian striker has expanded his contract in Barcelona until 2028 and accredits his decision to remain with the arrival of coach Hansi Flick.
Raphinha enjoyed a spectacular 2024-25 season, scoring 34 goals and providing 25 attendance to all competitions.

His efforts helped the boat to ensure a domestic trapidity (LaLiga, Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup) and is now considered among the main contenders of the Golden Ballon.
“Many people wanted to disappear,” he added. “It is already a victory only to fight for the Golden Ballon and to be among the ten favorites.”
The Brazilian also rushed to praise Lamine Yamal, who signed a new contract with the club this week.
Yamal, still only 17 years old, has been one of the revelations of the last season.
“I have never seen anything in the sheet, or from a 17 -year -old young man not even a 20 -year -old,” said Raphinha. “It has no roof. It can reach to the point you want. It all depends on it.”
He added that he sees Yamal as a younger brother, offering orientations out of the pitch, but leaving him to work his magic.
He said, “If you want to reach the highest point of the game, it will easily. He has everything to be one of the best in the history of football.”
