Jose Mourinho says that the 3-1 defeat from his side of Fenerbahce in Rangers was “a good result” and his team “were very bad everywhere.”
Mourinho has won all the great European honor, including the Europa League with Manchester United, but has a job in his hands to lift another this season after Rangers produced a famous victory in Istanbul.
But Mourinho says that the tie is not over and his side rests to work much better on Ibrox next week.
“I don’t think it is fair to say that we were badly defensively because we were very bad everywhere,” said Mourinho.
“Maybe laugh, but for me it was a good result due to the way to perform, the result could have been greater than this one.
“Defensively we have made incredible and incredible mistakes. They defend a lot with a very low block and then they had dangerous counters and we had no pace to keep it.

Rangers’ temporary head, Barry Ferguson, was praise for Mourinho after guiding his side in victory.
He said, “It’s only half the time because Fenerbahce has one of the best managers he has ever been.
“I am proud of the boys because they have spent a lot this season. They deserve a lot of credit.
“We must be ready for next Thursday and, I tell you something, I will have them ready.”
