Patron Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Rajat Patidar, began his journey as captain of the franchise in a maximum winning his first game at the helm.
Under the leadership of Rajat Patidar, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 7 doctors in the Kolkata Eden Gardens to launch their IPL 2025 campaign with a great note.

When asked about the influence of Kohli in the field, Rajat Patidar said he is fortunate enough to have the opportunity to learn from the legendary player about the game, as the former pattern gives him great support. Said:
“(In Kohli) is really fantastic when you have a player like him, it is a great opportunity for me to learn from one of the great players in the game.”
“It was a predetermined trait, I passed over the covers, the ball turned and it was automatically made,” Rajat Patidar said when he asked him about his shot from Pealer Harshit Rana over the point.
In their previous game, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) played a fast -paced contest in Eden Gardens on April 21, 2024, in the 36th game of the season. KKR managed to defeat RCB in a great score matter to achieve an epic victory.
Being invited to Bat First, KKR published a great 222/6 in 20 points, courtesy of a sensational start to Phil Salt. The English went around 48 to only 14 balls, putting the tone for an aggressive entry. Shreyas Iyer anchored the tickets with a brilliant 50 balls of 36 balls, while Rinku Singh (24 of 16) Andre Russell (27* of 20), and Ramandeep Singh (24* of 9) provided the final touches.
All RCB bowls had a difficult time at the entrances, with Yash Dayal (2/56) and Cameron Green (2/35) the only ones to choose multiple doctors.
Pursuing the goal, RCB achieved good performance, but was reduced to a short film to 221. Will Jacks (55 of 32 years) and rabbed skateboard (52 of 23 years) played counterattacks, but KKR bowls struck at crucial moments. For KKR, Andre Russell was the game changing room, as he took 3 by 25, including Jacks key doctors, skateboarding and Dineh Karthik.
