Rahul Dravid did Kingpin as Sunil Gavaskar Butchers Rajasthan Royals

Former Indian Cricter Sunil Gavaskar has hit the Rajasthan Royals (RR) after his loss in front of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the IPL 2025 shock. “With Rajasthan Royals, I am talking about the previous parties where I was not on the ground. I only saw them. So you are not always able to have the feeling of what happens. But here I was on the floor and I could see the type of cricket that was played,” said Sunil Gavaskar while talking in star sports.

“And with someone like Rahul Dravid as coach, he was quite puzzling: he was an unthinkable cricket. Dravid was always so accurate in his thinking and he would have thought that this type of approach would have been filtered in some of the Rajasthan Batters,” added Gavaskar.

It’s just a different type of cricket: Sunil Gavaskar

The former Indian Cricter said that the team had let three consecutive persecutions be eliminated despite controlling large parts of these games. Gavaskar said that young players are forced to go wrong, but there is still a lack of thought behind the team’s approach.

“Where is the thought process? You can’t wait for the non -experience players to always do well, but still … it’s just a different type of cricket,” said Sunil Gavaskar.

Rajasthan Royals’ Playoff’s hopes are hung by a thread after their last loss. With seven defeats in nine games, the side is on the shores of the removal and one more defeat could do them outside the IPL 2025 race.
