Warsaw Liberal mayor Rafal Trzaskouski won a narrow victory in the presidential election in Poland, the output survey, but in the second round with the conservative historian King Navaroki will need to determine the next president.

According to a poll published after the voting, Deputy Prime Minister Donald Tusk (PO), Deputy Prime Minister Donald Tusk won 30.8%.

Nawrocki finished second with 29.1%.

If the poll is confirmed by the final official result is not expected by the end of Monday-Trzaskovsky and the Navarokovsky compete in the second round on June 1, as none of the 13 candidates won more than 50% of the vote.

Trzaskouski told his fans at a rally in Sandamier, Southern Poland: “We will win.” But he said he would need a lot of work and “great determination”.

“I am convinced that all Poland will win,” he said.

He pledged to cooperate with the Coalition of Prime Minister Tusk on the liberalization of strict law on the country’s abortion and accelerating the reform of the Polish judicial system, which was allegedly politicized by the previous government under the leadership of the PIS.

Trzaskouski spoke worse than predicted polls, which were predicted before the vote, which was 4% -6% ahead of Novoroka.

The Polish president has a great extent solemn powers, but he is able to veto the legislation of the government. The Tusk coalition does not have a large enough parliamentary majority to cancel the veto of the president.

Tusk could not make many promises of his campaign, partly because the incumbent President Anders Duda had veto his government, but also thanks to the divisions in the coalition on issues such as abortion and civilian partnerships.

The victory for Trzaskouski would have removed the veto of the president, but the Navariers would probably be an even tougher obstacle than the bagpipe.

Novaroki told his supporters in Gdansk that Tusk should be stopped by winning the common power in Poland.

He called on supporters of two extreme candidates, Slavamir Mentacene, who finished third and won 15.4%, and Greek Brown, who finished fourth and won 6.2%to “keep Poland” from Tusk.

A lot will depend on which candidate can mobilize his electorate in the second round.

Novorotsky was unknown on a national scale before law and justice (PIS) chose it as a candidate. But he improved at work, and PIS has traditionally received his voice.

Trzaskowski will need to win the votes of their Central Party supporters, but also those who support the candidates for junior coalition partners, the left (Magdalen biath) and the third way of Conservatives (Szymon Holownia).

Another concern for Trzaskowski is better than expected, the results of the right-wing candidates because many of them will not vote for it.

The result of Menten was a strong show and continued to improve his far -right Confederation since joining Parliament in 2019.

Who, mostly young voters, again in the runoff?

Many will support the newcomers for their Catholic, family views, but they do not like the left economic policy of writing in generous state benefits.

The Menten candidate in the fight against the institution, and some of his supporters may not want to vote either for Nurok or Trzaskovsky, representing two parties that dominate Polish politics for two decades.

The result of Greek Brown was a completely right surprise for Poland’s liberal voters.

Brown made his headlines in 2023 when he laid out candles on Jewish menora in the Polish parliament with a fire extinguisher after the Hanuka festival ceremony.

Brown called the Satanin Festival. During the presidential discussion last month, he said, “Jews say too much in Polish affairs.”
