President Vladimir Putin called on 160,000 men aged 18-30, the highest conscripts in Russia since 2011, when the country is moving to expand the size of its military.
The spring call to the military service of the year took place a few months after Putin said that Russia should increase the total size of its military to almost 2.39 million, and the number of active military personnel to 1.5 million.
This is 180,000 in the next three years.
Vice -Azm Vladimir Tsimlyansky stated that the new recruits would not be sent to fight in Ukraine for what Russia calls its “special military operation”.
However, recruits were killed in battles in the Russian border regions, and they were sent to Ukraine in the first months of a full -scale war.
The current project, which takes place between April to July, comes despite attempts to set up a fire ceasefire.
On Tuesday, there was no reception in violence, and Ukraine stated that a Russian attack on a power plant in the southern city of Kherson left 45,000 people without electricity.
Russia also claimed that it had captured another Ukrainian village in the Donetsk region.
Russia calls recruits in the spring and fall, but the last project of 160,000 young people is 10,000 above the same period in 2024.
Since the beginning of last year, the pool of young people available to the project has increased by raising the maximum age from 27 to 30.
As well as call reports provided by POST, young people will receive notifications on the Gosuslugi public services website.
In addition to its twice years, Russia also called on a large number of men as soldiers and scored thousands of soldiers from North Korea.
Moscow had to respond to great losses in Ukraine, and more than 100,000 checked BBC and Mediozona as soldiers killed in Ukraine.
A valid number can be more than twice.
Putin increased the size of the military three times because he ordered the troops to capture Ukraine in February 2022.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has linked an increase in the size of the military in December 2023 with the “rise in threats” both from the war in Ukraine and the “constant expansion of NATO”.
NATO has expanded to include Finland and Sweden as a direct result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Finland has the longest NATO border with Russia, in 1343 km (834 miles), and on Tuesday, Prime Minister Peter Orpa said his country would join other states in neighboring Russia by pulling out the anti-persons’ overlands from the Convention.
Poland and the Baltic states made similar decisions two weeks ago because of Russia’s military threat.
ORPA stated that the decision to resume using the mines was based on military parades, and that the resident of Finland had nothing to worry about.
The Helsinki government also said the defense costs will be increased to 3% of economic products (GDP), which is 2.4% last year.
