Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in China to greet the red carpet, joining more than 20 leaders at a regional security summit.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Tianjin’s port comes a few days before the major military parade in Beijing, which has been celebrating 80 years since the end of World War II.
MODI – for the first time in seven years visited China – held talks with the XI before the summit opening and said Delhi was seeking to improve ties with his neighbor.
The collection comes with steep tariffs in the United States imposed on Indian goods as a penalties for the permanent purchase of Russian oil in Delhi, and Putin faces threats of sanctions over the war with Ukraine.
Modi said XI that India promised to take “our connections on the basis of mutual trust, dignity and sensitivity,” the MODI video said.
“Interest 2.8 billion people of both countries are connected with our cooperation. It will also open the way to the well -being of all humanity,” said Modi XI.

There are 10 member states in the Beijing SCO – including Pakistan, Iran and Belarus – as well as 16 dialogue partners and observers.
The summit itself is largely symbolic, but to allow the leaders to the general complaints about the air and the common interests – and this year the collection will be marred by trade wars with the US.
Last week, President Trump’s decision to impose 50 percent tariffs on India helped to improve the relations between New Delhi and Beijing, which in 2020 fell from the deadly contraction between the border forces in the Himalayas.
The SCO organization was established by China, Russia and four Central Asian countries in 2001 as a counter -cluster to limit the influence of Western alliances such as NATO.
The collection this year has been the largest since the founding of the organization.
The meeting takes place a few days before the large -scale military parade, which will be celebrated 80 years since the end of World War II.
