PSL 2025: Fancode will refund the subscription rates after stopping the coverage of the Pakistan Super League? Here is the refund rule

In a great development after the tragic horror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Streaming platform Fancode has suspended his broadcast of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 In India. The suspension, which came into force from April 24, 2025, comes after the attack that left 26 dead people, including several Indian tourists, and was attributed to the Pakistan terrorist group Lashkar-E-Taiba.

No more streaming of PSL 2025 in India

Fancode had been transmitting the PSL since the launch of the tournament on April 11, 2025, acting as the official digital broadcaster of the League in India. However, after Pahalgam’s tragedy, the platform quickly eliminated all the content related to PSL from its application and website, including live parties, highlights and coincidence schedules. The movement reflects the intensification of the diplomatic fall between India and Pakistan, which has seen a number of increasing measures such as the completion of the Treaty of Indus water and the closure of cross -border routes.

Sony Sports Network, responsible for PSL television broadcasts in India, has also released PSL’s programming on its channels, although an official statement on future coverage is still expected.

What does this mean for fancode subscribers?

The sudden coverage has caused confusion among fans who had been specifically signed to see the PSL. Fancode offers subscriptions to both games and season for live sports events, and many now ask if they will receive returns.

The company’s rule suggests that when the services are stopped suspending due to extraordinary circumstances, companies normally reimburse the unused part of the subscriptions or offer equivalent credits for future use. Since the contents of PSL have been completely eliminated, subscribers are recommended to be set to Fancode’s Helpdesk or in the customer service to clarify them.

According to the general terms of Fancode, users have the right to returns or credits if the content is not available or if the streaming rights are removed. Since the stoppage comes from events outside of Fancode control, returns are likely to be processed by case.

Specifically, the subscribers who bought the PSL 2025 Tour Pass, with a price of € 125, will receive full refunds. These returns are expected to be automatically processed within 7-10 working days and will be accredited to the original mode of payment.
