Professor Bozy Ennis’ 3 World Champions

A few years ago, this writer made an article on “My Three Sons” by his father, Bozy Ennis. I was reminded of the television program Fred McMurray ‘My Three Sons’!

His eldest son, Derek ‘Pooh’ Ennis, 24-5-1 with 13 knockouts, won the heavy weight titles PA and IBF USBA. Both ‘pooh’ and “bozy” were introduced to Pab Hof.

Brother Farah Ennis, 22-2 with 12 knockouts, won the title of Half Nabf weight.

Currently, Philadelphia’s best coach, “Bozy” Ennis, has three world champions he works with, including his son, Ibf and WBA World Welterweight Champion Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis, 34-0 with 30 knockouts.

Ennis won the World IBF title, stopping David Avaneyan, 30-4-1, in July 2024. In April 2025, he added the WBA title, eliminating Eimantas Stanionis, 15-0.

Ennis also coaches another world champion of pen of Philadelphia in Stephen ‘Scooter’ Fulton, 23-1 with eight knockouts. He is the former WBC World Champion and Wbo Super Bantamweight.

In January 2021, Fulton won the title Wbo World Super Bantamweight, defeating Angelo Leo. He added the World Title of the WBC to Super Bantamweight, and then to Brandon Figueroa Unbeaten. He won the WBC World Title of Feathers defeating the then Interim World Champion of WBC Figueroa.

Ennis added a third world champion to IBF and IBO World Super Welterweight Champion Oshae Jones, 8-0 with 3 knockouts. In November, Jones won a decision divided on IBF and the Super Welterweight champion of Ibo, Femke Hermans, from 18 to 3, in Atlanta, Ga.
