Your daily dose of cricket!
His Mumbai’s departure was on the cards for a long time, as selectors were not happy with the performance and physical form of Prithvi Shaw and dropped him off the ranji trophy squad and did not consider him for the Vijay Hazare trophy.
They instructed Shaw to work in his physical fitness, and when he did not show any improvement, the decision was made to keep him away from the team.
In the meantime, on Monday, July 7, the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) officially confirmed the inclusion of the batter on the Maharashtra Cricket team.
In a statement, the batter on the right expressed his delicious to join Maharashtra and waited for growth as a cricket with the new team while playing with Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ankit Bawne, Rahul Tripathi, Rajneesh Gurbani and others.
On Thursday, August 14, the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) announced a staff of 17 men for the invitations tournament of all India Buchi Babu.
Shaw has been appointed to the squad, which will be directed by Ankit Bawane. The squad also features Ruturaj Gaikwad, Siddhesh Veer, Sachin Dhas, Arshin Kulkaarni, Rajvarden Hanvagekar and others.
Above all, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Saurabh Nawale will leave the squad after playing a game and will be linked to the staff of the west of Bengaluru for the Duleep trophy.
In the meantime, Shaw would try to relaunch his career and offer an impressive performance in his first task with Team Maharashtra.
Shaw was considered the next major thing in the Indian cricket, but is not currently near the senior team and does not even have a contract for the Indian Premier League (IPL). The trajectory with Maharashtra gives the opportunity to return to the selection radar.
