Prince William Enjoyed a sports day out in the FA Cup finals on Saturday, May 17.
William, 42, wore smartly in a naval suit as he watched the matchup between Crystal Palace and Manchester City at London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday. After Crystal Palace tackled their opponents 1-0 to take their first big ever trophy, William greeted the players and coaches on the pitch to offer his congratulations.
The Prince of Wales is a notable football fan, even bringing prince George’s 11-year-old son To the FA Care rounds last year. While William loved the Aston Villa club in particular, he would not push George or the younger children Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, to follow in his feet. (William shares his three children with a wife Princess Kate Middleton.)
“I let (George) choose his own way (and a team to support it). It’s about finding what fits him.… I like the club’s values and ethos,” said William on “Podcast Peter Crouch” In July 2020, referring to his support for Aston Villa. “I want them to look after the players and set a good example for the young fans. I want our children, when they go to the fight, come off love what they have seen, enjoy it and see their role models behave in a way we all want them to do.”
While Kate, 43, and their three children appear absent on Saturday, they are also passionate about watching football games.
“If I’m home alone with the kids I probably don’t have the pint before the game, but I have a little superstition about where I’m sitting when I’m watching them,” said William March interview with The sun. “If we’re not doing very well, I’m starting to move ‘around the house quite quickly and I put the children in different jobs in the hope that that will change our luck.”
William also emphasized that he did not put pressure on George, Charlotte and Louis to choose their loyalty.
“I kind of hope they will all find their own teams in time,” said the Prince earlier this year. “I try not to be biased but obviously they see how passionate I am about it, and they watch the games with me. I’m trying to spread the love a little.”
FA WILLIAM CUP DEATH ON SUPERVISES Lingering family drama. William and his father, King Charles IIIdisengaged from Prince Harry In recent years. (Charles, 76, shared his sons with a late ex-wife Princess Diana.)
Harry, 40, and his wife Meghan Markle stepped down from their duties as Senior Royals who work in 2020, settling in Montecito, California, with their two children. The decision triggered tension with his relatives across the pool, which continued to increase during the Battle of Harry to restore his English -funded security in England. (He lost its latest appeal earlier in May.)
As a result, a source recently alleged to Weekly US William and Kate will not give to Harry and Meghan, 43, “Time of the Day.”
“William is more hurt than anything else,” the source only said Us. “The first step is to stop talking to the public about private issues. They do not see a path forward until Harry can stay quiet.”
