US President Donald Trump has announced a universal “basic” tariff for all US imports, what he was called “Liberation Day”.
Trump also introduced a 10% tariff for UK goods and 20% for EU goods at a turning point for global trade. The United States will also get to certain countries with much more steady tariffs, up to 50%.
