The Chelsea will seek to monitor the victory of the Europa Conference League on Thursday with another victory against Leicester at the Premier League.
Enzo Maresca has already beaten his former club once this season, winning a 2-1 victory at King Power Stadium in November.
But the foxes will now travel to the Stamford bridge, desperate by the points as they fight against the relegation under Ruud Van Nistelrooy.
The blues have won only three wins in 11 games at the Premier League, a poor career who saw their brief challenge before it really started.
Now, the West London Club faces a battle to hang in a place in the first four places and the team will take positive ones knowing that their recent three victories have come home.
Leicester is only five security points, but could be the first team of Foxes in 95 years in losing five games in a row by a margin of two or more.
Ensuring European football is still a priority for the house, and with all teams that prohibit Manchester City still in their respective competitions, it seems likely that fifth place will take a place in the Champions League in the next term.
However, there are only six points that separate the third and tenth at the table, which means that the blues cannot afford to slip here.

Chelsea will be without Noni Madueke, Nicolas Jackson and Marc Guiu for the foreseeable future, as all three will remain on the sidelines until after the international pause.
However, there is good news for the Blues, as Romeo Lavia has resumed training and is expected to be available next week.
One of the remarkable tactical changes in Chelsea’s recent equipment saw Reece James unfolded in an unknown mid -field role, a successful play as he opened the score in Copenhagen.
With Malo Gusto he hoped to regain his physical form, Maresca can continue to experiment with James in this position in the next games.
Next to Leicester, Woyo Coulibaly, on the right, has successfully passed a fitness test and will be available for the selection.
However, Ricardo Pereira and Abdul Fatawu are still the only players who are not available due to injury.
Supporters have requested that Stephy Mavidididi have more play time, and with six consecutive appearances coming out of the bench, this match could finally present it with the opportunity to start.
Chelsea: Jorgesen; Taste, Tosin, Colwill, Cucurella; James, Enzo, Caicedo; Clean, palmer, nkunku
Leicester: Hermansen; Justin, Phases, Dress, Christian; Need, Soumare; Buonanotte, the Khannous, Mavid; Vardy
The Chelsea will host Bournemouth for a launch of 14:00 Sunday, but it is not available live in the United Kingdom, with Tottenham vs Bournemouth in Sky Sports at once.
